Something like that. She loves sweets and he is a Belgian trained chocolatier. She only carries the best...of everything. And his skills are not limited to chocolate, his peanut brittle is to die for...... Been going there for about 30 years now (I think)

My sweet tooth is my maternal grandparents fault. Mom and dad didn't want us sugared up when we were kids BUT we knew where grandma and grandpa each kept their secret stash.

BTW - the chocolate bar is amazing......

Banana pancakes

Fruit in the batter or served with? In the batter but! To avoid hot banana and raw pancake batter these have to cook at least 5 min turning continually till they cook through . So decadent! Lots of butter, semi deep fried.

Yes I was telling my wife what it was like and I think I said fritter . The bananas get so cooked they turn into like a compote . Warm and comfort food.
