Ploughman's Lunch

Bought myself a bread maker, made a small wholemeal spelt loaf, very nice, weren't sure it would work as there isn't a programme for wholemeal spelt, only standard wholemeal but it's fine.

Ate a couple slices with cheddar, thick cut ham, pickled cucumber Branston pickle, sliced red onion, ripe tomato and a cox's apple.
Not had cheese and onion together for a long time, forgot how nice they are together.

reminded me of Dad, as he bought me my first ploughman's in a pub. And he used to love raw onions, sliced em thicker than the cheese in sandwiches

My iPad has a mind of its own. I did not eat a cupcake! The word I typed in was cup. Reading this ..all I can think about is going out and having a cupcake. I am on a restricted diet.. no refined sugar. I need to turn auto fill off. It is sabotaging me!
