Penne with meaty tomato sauce. The meat was ground lamb. I was grateful to my past self for listening to my intuition telling me to get the bag of dehydrated tomatoes because I had no canned tomatoes. So the sauce was onions and garlic, and four kinds of tomatoes: cherry from the greenhouse at school, the rehydrated dried tomatoes, tomato paste, and tomato sauce. The flavor of the rehydrated dehydrated tomatoes was intense which helped counter the lamb. Thyme, marjoram, and oregano also helped. Topped the pasta with crumbled queso fresco. Satisfying!
