My mum used to make it. I put half raisins n half candied peel. And I use less syrup, less biscuits, and add some chopped nuts and oats. Tis like crack for me, it won't last long

I went to the last remaining Mexican bakery in my town and got some traditional Mexican pastries to have with my cardamom (and now cinnamon too) coffee. Lovely!! I’m used to the dried out conchas in my grocery store—these were in a different class altogether!

I just googled those cookies . They sound great. To the point of me trying to make them at some point in my life.

Oddly, the cucumber rather overpowered the jalapeño.
