Y'day.....lemon water, herbal infusions, more water, sipped on some warm home made veggie broth, had a big salad, then roasted some fresh broccoli with red onion and balsamic vinegar and steamed a big pot of fresh green beans, seasoned with thyme and garlic, then served topped with chopped heirloom tomatoes, hemp seed, and chopped red onion.
Will be prepping food for my 'meals on wheels' visit to mom the next couple days. Wishing for strength and patience to see my brain and heart through the process. It's always an emotional tug-of-war realizing you're working so hard at healthily nurturing someone who didn't seem the least bit interested in healthily nurturing you or your sibling in our younger years.
