What Did You Eat And Drink Last?

A cheese samwich on whole grain bread (Organic) and then I went out to a new restaurant in town and had a Caesar Salad and some unsweet tea with lemon. I love lemon! I love that new place. They know how to make good tea. The salad was tasty too and the service was top rate, so who could say anything but "I am going back there and soon!"

Sipping on lemon water and a warm ginger root/wild plantain infusion. Munched on another homemade Mexican spread last night. Thinking of doing an Asian cabbage dish of some sort tonight. We'll see which way the menu momentum flows for the day. Still anxiously awaiting a local gluten-free whole food plant-based vegan eatery that delivers. Ahhhhh...one of these days....

We had scrambled eggs, bacon, crispy hash browns and toast for breakfast.

Now I'm making the last batch of chili of this winter season. With cornbread muffins which I add chopped G. pepper, onion, corn, a lil jalapeno and cheese. A meal in itself.

We can't wait for corn season too! I soak it in its husk in sugar water and grill it. We have alot of corn roasts in the summer. So yummy!

Organic whole 5 grain bread dipped in lentil soup with a salad of sorts and Italian dressing, prunes and I will have some cherry juice with grape juice (100% juices, no sugar added).

Oh, and in cooking class this week they will be teaching us to make veggie pizza. I cannot wait!

Ended up making "Chickpea of the Sea" seafood salad, using crumbled nori wraps for the seafood flavor (so far, all the chickpea salads I've tried have been a hit with many non-vegan taste buds), and a loaf of my first attempt at a gluten-free vegan regular loaf bread for lunch, which was damn tasty, albeit a bit crumbly around some of the edges.....then made more of those bbq cauliflower "wings", roasted potato wedges, and steamed broccoli florets for supper.

Spicy Bean burger in a Wholemeal bun with sliced tomato, red onion, plastic cheese n kechup n fries. Diet coke.

Reminded me of having this meal at Wimpy when I was younger n vegetarian.
