I had pizza and a caffeine-free soda as a treat. It is probably for the last time in a great while as I am starting a healthy heart diet. It turns out the great American lifestyle is causing plaque to build up in my arteries so it is time to try something new.
I'm in food heaven after discovering a Thai restaurant in a town not too far away. They accommodate vegan/gluten-free like a boss! I can't wait to go back and try more. ?
I started with summer rolls that looked like sushi (soft Vietnamese rolls filled with veggies, tofu, herbs, and noodles with a sweet/sour peanut dipping sauce)...so f'n tasty...then munched on part of the stir-fried garlic tofu entree dish that came with rice and sooo many veggies...YUM!...and then got a doggie bag to bring the rest home so I didn't overindulge all at once.
I tried one of the hubby's fried chive dumplings and, holy chit, they were good, too. I want to move in and eat all my meals there for a while. lol My only complaint is they all wear really strong cologne/perfume and the bathroom is a massive head bursting scenario full of air fresheners/harsh cleaners.
Luckily, the smell of the food cooking over rode the chemical stank bombs and helped me not suffer but so much, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to stay. I found out they do take out orders, so next time I'll just grab some to go and eat at home. I'm so excited!
Had my usual multiple hydration concoctions upon rising, then some blueberries and burro bananas for break-fast, Thai leftovers for lunch, and made pizza for supper with a quinoa crust, cashew/tofu cheese, tomato sauce, shrooms, yellow bell peppers, red onions, spinach, basil, oregano, and garlic.
