A lemon from New Zealand at the grocery. It is the prettier of the two types they offered. It is golden yellow, whereas the other is this kind of bland yellow by comparison. It was .75 cents and the others were more expensive too, so I was happy to buy it. Never tried one of these before! It's good, of course. (I live in the USA).

A little blue tailed lizard, right outside my kitchen window, next to my stinging nettle plants. He was busy chasing insects for lunch. I badly needed a distraction from my what-ifness thoughts and whoomp, there he was. Right on time.

Ohh @Missing Mermaid , those are some great finds !! Do you do any kind of art or crafts.. I already had your 'finds' incorporated in a collage I'm working on... without your permission.?.. but only in my imagination. ?

I found two feathers, side by side today, from two different birds. One dark gray, the other light gray with a dark gray end... what's with all the feathers eh??

I badly needed a distraction from my what-ifness thoughts and whoomp, there he was. Right on time.

I was thinking, for a person who was expected to succeed -top 2% intellectually (probably bottom 2% now ?? ), my kindness over ran my intellect. Dictated my choices, goals, in many ways, what I followed, what I could do, or didn't chose to do, or what my heart chose. I had no desire for competition either. I wasn't feeling very good about it. Pretty much like an idiot, loser, incompetent or just plain stupid. 'Different' from others. About 5 minutes later 2 little kids got on the bus, a girl and boy, maybe 7 or 8, siblings or friends or whatever. Having much fun. The little girl had a light pink shirt, my favorite color, with big black block letters (even I could see, lol) that said 'KIND PEOPLE ARE MY KIND OF PEOPLE'.

I forgot a block of cheese on the kitchen counter last night, so this morning I found it on the floor nibbled :D My precious kitties had a banquet

There's this guy here in Lisbon who walks around the city removing three stones from the sidewalk to form hearts. :) I always smile when I see one of those.

Bunches and bunches of autumn olives getting ripe, cool looking berries on the sassafras trees that I'd never noticed before, more red clover to harvest, a hummingbird that had passed - so I laid it to rest with a nice ceremony and some wild flowers, and a handsome little toad chilling on the porch.

I found darkening blinds at the store (correct size and reasonable price), versus the usual light filtering blinds.
Afterwards, was shown and found a great movie, “The Guernsey Literary And Potatoe Peel Society”
