I'm glad for you both @Lionheart777 & @berlinda .

It's not stupid @Junebug It's easy to be heartbroken about defenceless animals, that have no voice. I'm glad you did what you did.

Thank you @ladee .Am glad the crows didn't get it at least. I guess it was God's way of showing me what kind of an Easter it would be. :( Without even saying Easter's a trigger itself, without the sh*tshow of anniversaries the next 3 weeks.

Today I found the invisible voiceless aren't noticed when they pull the stop indicator on the bus.

While at mom's, I was walking through all the outbuildings that have recently been emptied. In the wood shed, I found an entire wing of a red-winged black bird.

I used to only see those birds when I'd go to her house to visit. The day she was moved into the hospice house, there was one right outside the glass doors in her room when she arrived.

I've seen them near my house and in many other spots ever since. I typically only find a single bird feather here and there, but finding the whole wing was pretty damn special and symbolic to my heart. ❤

May both mom and the bird rest in power.

Lucky, @DharmaGirl . :):inlove:

On sunday before last I had misgivings, looked up and someone had written DOUBT in big black letters on a brick wall. Underneath it they had put a picture of a grim reaper, with 'Bates Motel' written on it, no less. Pretty creepy, maybe left over from Halloween, I thought, or just there. So I stepped back so there was an obstacle (pole) in front of it, since, well, that's not exactly helpful to keep staring at when you feel that way, and are trying to be objective, and are freezing. But I felt crappy so I guess I sighed and stared down at the ground, and there right at my feet where I moved was a square tag, about 2x2" , that said 'Love you'. Kind of stuck with me. Quite the difference, yet only words.

Found and returned someone's wedding ring couple of week's ago.

I found that I miss my sister, that I relied on her for support and sometimes for guidance. She was good at talking common sense to me and helping with scary situations. I valued her opinion and enjoyed her company. I loved her very much and I find that I am missing her more than ever today.
