I'm glad the hummingbird found you, @Tornadic Thoughts . :( A place/ person of safety/ peace.
I thought that was an oxymoron.. ;) (Just kidding, am from the city. :) I am carrying out any bug in the basement now though, thanks to you. :) Except if there is a spider, because they're too fast to catch with a kleenex and I'm sure not going to be touching any of them. :) )
Well, in my search for a pair of nylons yesterday- a whole drawer of lovely fancy undies I did not remember I even owned, lol.
But, today, a rock (concrete) like a hand sized monument with aggregate stones set in and a flat base; computer instructions.
And, I had a very odd coincidental thing happen this morning, I am trying to start for (myself) a new therapy technique for ptsd that someone said on here I never heard of, googled it , I have to start all over from the beginning with what they said though because it's all (unnerving and exhausting!) exercises but I know they started with you need a mindfulness image of a safe place, I have had only 1 I can manage, ever- a red burning candle (I can't visualize, but- hey @scout86 - good news though, apparently we 'all' supposedly can, since you need only a flash second image, eg. 'think of a bike'- we can remember or 'make' an image ?? ) ; and forget images with open-ness or people- ??? - "Get the F out!'- lol , no other safe place), and this item was what they talked about in church (not common). I even had thought yesterday of buying one for someone as a gift, but I was too tired and too late to get to the store. So I think(?) I found some ~'hope' or encouragement to try to try again to try mindfulness (though it's really destabilizing) in relation to this new therapy technique. So if I can force myself to try each day maybe I can ultimately say I've also found something that's useful for toning down the hypervigilance, fear, terror and self-rejection. It's supposed to help people who know CBT but who have self-critical thoughts ('know' what to think, but can't 'feel'/ believe it), to tone down the hypervigilance/ internal environment and mind in order to get to be able to do the work/ processing (overcome the obstacle).
Oh ya, -maybe that's why I've been finding all these cigarette lighters- 4 lately, was thinking, I'm still vaping?, but they're good to light candles too. :roflmao:
Hey, ..maybe that's a tip I should just be buying a candle, instead of fighting non-visualizing? Hence the lighters?
handsome little toad
