Medical ultra sound with wand

Something to think about. The tech who did the procedure asked if I wanted to insert the wand myself or have her do it. I can't remember what I said, but I essentially gave her the choice. Good for her she asked me again and the second time I did say I'd prefer to do it myself. But the first response was definitely a fawn response.

Current T and old T have both made comments before that I would stop something if it was going to happen. I don't think either of them understand just how strong my fawn response is.

really supported by you recently when going through my body’s emotional breakdown

Thank you. I'm glad that you felt supported by comments. I do feel for you. You've got a lot going on right now.

I recently had uterine cancer and had to have this test.

I'm so sorry you are dealing with that. That's got to be incredibly hard.

This is a great observation of your own behavior, and very insightful - I'd encourage you to share this discovery with your T. Also - adding to the chorus of, really well done tackling that whole situation, and it's so great that the technician asked you twice, and that you gave yourself permission to say "yes, I'd like to do it myself" the second time. Great work!
