I ORDERED regular/basic $15 per pound tuna sashimi. But I got toro, which is $70 per pound fatty-tuna, instead.

Spoiler: Griping

Kinda screwed up my dinner plans, as I’d planned to make spicy tuna hand rolls… and that’s like trying to make burgers for 4 outta 1 filet mignon. It can be done? But it’s a waste. Also, the same money I spent bought maybe 75g instead of 500g. Double vexing. Still delicious, but it’s not gonna feed 4 people. When I rang the shop you could hear the horror in the owner’s voice. I expect a new employee just got thumped in the head. They sell 6 or 7 different grades/types of tuna sashimi. Knowing which a customer is ordering? Is like knowing that there’s more than “beef” for sale, but hamburger all the way on up to filet mignon. If someone orders 500g of hamburger? They reeeeeally don’t want less than 100g of steak.

Was in a hurry and ran out of quick foods at my house so stopped at a bakery. I needed the nutrients to last about 2-3 hours so I ordered coffee cake (It was the biggest!). What I wouldn’t give for a European style bakery that doesn’t pour half a bag of sugar into each recipe!

Mmm I think US foods are sweeter, never been tho. I was mostly saying I'd love a good bakery nearby. They're just not as common as they used to be, same goes for butcher's and greengrocers. Run out of business by supermarkets. I'm guessing it's similar all over the world.

Danish salty.liquorice. I've grown fond of em but they're out if stock.
