Wearing long johns, hoodie, boots and winter coat. (gloves at the ready in my pocket). It's 47F but at least the sun is out. In all my years living in Michigan I don't remember a Memorial weekend this cold.

That went by us last week, except it got down to about 35 F. The end of April and start of May were cold - cold and rainy.

Good news though is if the weather keeps moving your way, warm and sunny is coming.....

It’s so muggy which is damp I can’t play the guitar I feel like putting powder on my hands. It’s been very cloudy and cool and damp which I like but tomorrow’s supposed to be very hot close to 100°. We’ll see.

It’s so HOT (well for the UK) and everyone on the ward is congregating in the teeny tiny patch of shade in the garden by the fence.

Okay, read your post @Calm in the chaos and it reminded me how vast this forum’s community is!

Where I am, we’re shivering through unusually cold winter mornings (which are not really cold - it’s down to single digits celsius overnight…we’re used to heat here!).

Buildings here are built for the heat, rather than the cold, so the heaters are on all day and people are going to work rugged up in beanies, thermals and ski jackets!

Where I am, we’re shivering through unusually cold winter mornings (which are not really cold - it’s down to single digits celsius overnight…we’re used to heat here!).

We don't get that much heat there but in the opposite hemisphere we are still getting down to single digits. The forecast has us getting up to average temps 1 day in the next week......

Yeah that ain’t cold, but that’s from someone somewhere with brick houses.

I do love a good beanie and thermal jacket fit though, and there’s staff that come to work in fluffy bed socks in the winter! I am a lover of the cold though!

But yeah it was 23 Celsius where I am today, which is hot hot here.

Not really....The high here today will be....15c, 59F. And rain rain thunderstorm rain.......

At least I know where to find the cats....looking out the front window watching it rain.....

I have to gloat today because it’s about 95 degrees at my bjs a couple towns over but we get the sea breeze so it’s around 80 and really nice down here. Everyone always says down here referring to being by the water. My town has a lot of drawbacks but on days like today everyone wants a house here or at least a parking place. They put signs out as you come into to town, all lots full. There really isn’t that much parking you can pay for. It’s one of the last public beaches anywhere around here that has any kind of parking at all for out of town people and that’s a long story about how that’s like that.

We never go to the beach anymore lol.
