Homegrown tomato sandwiches on toasted sprouted grains bread with herbed veganaise (vegan mayo mixed with fresh basil and parsley), sliced red onion, and fresh spinach.....with a salad and 1/2 of a baked red potato. Gonna be an even bigger salad making fool tomorrow as I prep vittles for my mom and sis.

I just discovered the delightful flavor of dates with peanut butter! YUM.

Ooooo....they are delicious, @SpiritSong ! I like to do that and stuff a few dairy-free chocolate chips in there, too, and it tastes a lot like the way I remember a reese cup tasting. Food lion recently had their dairy free chocolate chunks on close-out, so I stocked up. Thanks for the reminder of a good way to use some. :)

Frozen bananas blended with two handfuls of fresh picked spinach, some fresh picked strawberries, a little water, some vanilla extract, a few soaked and pitted dates, and some hulled hemp hearts.
