Monte cristo sándwich (my first ever), smashed potatoes (heavenly), and unsweetened iced passion fruit tea. Went to a brunch place with my mom. She was going to treat me but I surprise treated her. I need a nap now!

A local diner used to do theirs with a sharp cheese and blueberry compote for dipping.......yum.

@Freddyt this one was ham and Swiss with jalapeño mascarpone (sadly that part was undetectable) and strawberry jam not too sweet on the side.

My understanding is that if the bacon ratio is high enough? You don’t even need to soak the livers in milk to draw out the funk. (Ditto kidneys, pierce & soak in milk to draw out the urine/Uric acids).

One DOES have to wonder why one would adulterate perfectly lovely bacon… with liver.

((In effort of honesty? Raw liver, still hot from the animal, is kinda/sorta amazing. Especially if you’re in any way injured. Much like the difference between sashimi & tinned tuna. World’s apart.))
