Apartment searching sucks

I live in a shelter rn and it's better than it sounds, basically just a normal condo, but I really would like to move out and be on my own. But all the apartments in my stupid city are either badly bug infested, very unsafe, or waaaaaaaay out of my price range. Ugh!!!! Just wanted to vent. I found one that I thought was okay and paid $150 for an application turned AND looked into, is actually spider and roach infested!!!!! This is ridiculous!!!
Anyway just wanted to vent about that lol. I've been looking for an apartment for months. It's awful.

Ahh yeah it is. And the waste of time going to view shit holes. Like just be honest in the listing I'm going to notice when I come to view it.

What's even worse is packing and moving. So stressful I don't envy you. I'm not going to move again any time soon if I can help it.

I've been looking for 2 months too. Where I live we have the drug shit, shootings and rents so high that I'm not sure how people afford them.

I know I'm asking for a lot when I say I just want someplace safe and drug free. At my age and a woman living alone, I think that's a reasonable request, but in today's society, I guess I'm asking for too much! Just blows my mind!
