Relationship Combat ptsd help i don't know how to handle this

Exactly what @Friday said. It will happen again. It's scary, huh? Imagine if he's 30 Stellas in and his "oh sh*t I should stop" gauge is even more off next time, because that could be the last time. Yeah, it all sounds pretty dramatic, but every time something like that happens, it will get worse, scarier, and more rough. Twenty minutes at your throat already seems like a long ass first time for me. Can't imagine what could happen next time he can't keep his sh*t together. (If I'm coming off as judgmental, it's because I am judging him. Because I've been in the same boat as you with my combat vet, but that doesn't make it normal or right...for either of us.)
