I've been away from therapy for 6 months now. I think I'm ready to go back.
I've periodically gone online to search for a new therapist but was never thrilled by what I found. Last week I found someone who takes my insurance (I hope...I've found therapists who say they take medicare and when I talk to them, it's more like they take ONE medicare patient and that Medicare patient won't be leaving therapy for a few years at least. I guess it makes them feel like they're doing some good for the world by accepting one of us...or maybe it just makes them look good to others? But I digress...)
So anyway, I need to contact this new therapist. She does Neurofeedback and is experienced with trauma. Just what I'm looking for. I know I swore up and down that I'd never do Neurofeedback again, but my physical symptoms are kicking into high gear again and driving me nuts.
I guess I'm just looking for a little encouragement. I hate the new therapist search process!
