Relief, I thought I was on holiday for Wimbledon, but I come back on the Sunday and the tournament starts on the Monday.

Please Anthony can we have a Monday morning deadline for bets to give me a chance to catch up?

Okay, I was doing that women thing when we expect men to know which month we are talking about. I come back from holiday on the 23rd of June.

I missed that part out :oops: Poor hubby hasn't worked out how my mind works even after 33 years.

Wimbledon starts on the 24th of June... and games will close at the local time they're being played. That shouldn't interfere with anything if you want to participate in Wimbledon here... or any additions I create for that tournament.

Yay, I don't want to miss out on chances to win big money. Maybe I ought to join this century and buy some type of wireless iPad/book thingy, not that I agree with having them on holiday - but maybe the odd peek would be all right.

Well... that was all fruitless. I broke even, losing $2m on two huge gambles I don't normally take, and making it up on the other 6 games. Disappointing.

Yep, overall I'm down on where I started last night. Oh well.

Now I'm undecided about the Federer match.

That's why I'm waiting to watch the games... am watching them now, before I make choices.

Novak is just on fire.... zero doubt there. He just made Seppi look like an amateur. Del Potro has a big serve, and that is what gets him through. Novak has a big serve and just freakishly superior game. He will beat Del Potro without doubt.

Choices made. It is now in the lap of the gods. I bet on Federer but still think Berdych is in with a chance. I resisted my old habit of betting on them both.

Yer... I was thinking Berdych as well. Low and behold, he got him. Federer was in form, but Berdych was as well, and his serve is better than Federer. I won $700k, lost $500k... still up, so all is well.

Tip, that is how you bet. You bet enough on the nearest sure thing to cover a possible loss on unsure bets. Sometimes, it all goes to shit... but mostly, if you do it right, you still come out on top. I simply put it all down to the Yahtzee God!
