Made a big crock pot full of "clean out the fridge soup" yesterday with veggie broth, cabbage, shitake mushrooms, green onion, eggplant, poblano peppers, yellow and red bell peppers, garlic, turmeric, dulse granules, black pepper, and sea salt and served it with some leftover garden salad.
Today is mostly fresh juice/liquid diet day, made with generous amounts of kale, swiss chard, ginger root, cabbage, beets, beet greens, lemon, and granny smith apples...so pretty....and so tasty...with a bowl of leftover soup to look forward to at the end of the day.
Also, gonna soak and start some sprouts...mung bean sprouts to top salads with and some chickpea sprouts to try to make some raw hummus with. I never before realized I could grow part of my own lunch on the kitchen counter so easily, and so quickly. They charge a pretty penny for sprouts and such in stores.
