What kind of arrogant idiot would not rule out an organic cause first!?
At least he was honest.:rolleyes:"If I hadn't been taking psychiatric medication, would it have taken so long for you to operate?". His answer: "No".
Do not say anything about filing a claim or hiring an attorney until you have your records in hand.
I'm glad you manage to interpret what I intended. Sorry, I shouldn't post when I can't understand properly and can't be clear.i get what you are saying.
So they kept you in ICU although they did not believe there was anything physically wrong? Bizarre. Here you would have been moved out of ICU in a flash. There must have been a little somebody in the background who thought/knew you were in the right place...I was taken to the hospital and put in the ICU as soon as I arrived...he decided my ailment was psychosomatic
That is plain dangerous! If the ER ( A&E here) decide to give you medication X not knowing you are regularly taking Medication Y they could kill you. Some drugs act against each other, some enhance the effect of another and some are incompatible and will cause a reaction within you. Not a risk I would be prepared to take. I agree the stigma is wrong, but withholding medical information is dangerous.I never tell anyone about my medications except for my GP. If I go to the ER, nope, I'm not on any meds!
