@Rebel Girl maybe your self expectations are too big?

I started at about 5min of time once a day. Eg one game of plants versus zombies and forcing myself to not add an additional distraction. If my mind made up a distraction, that was okay, my goal was to not add an external one.
 
@scout86 I don't know much about add / adhd. I thought those disorders were accompanied by excess physical energy. I'll do Some research.

There are 3 basic kinds of ADHD

Mental Hyperactivity... ADHD-i / inattentive type /formerly ADD
Physical Hyperactivity... ADHD-h / physical type /formerly ADHD
Both ... ADHD-c / combined type / formerly ADD-ADHD

I'm ADHD-c. I generally describe it to people as when my mind is moving, my body is still, and when my body is moving, my mind is still.
