I think it would be a good idea to listen to the advice you are getting here and not follow his ever changing lead. Your posts are all the same, asking the same questions because you are so confused. Are you actually taking in anything that is said here? I read your posts, tempted to reply, but I’ve already given feedback on this exact topic of yours a number of times now, as have many others.
His therapist is saying no relationships for now. Can you now understand why? This rollercoaster ride will continue indefinitely. And given the hurtful BS that he says to you, sweetie, you’re not “the one”. Yes, it hurts, but you don’t want to see the writing on the wall and you’re prolonging your own pain. A man who says he wants to find someone else to make him all better....well, he’s just not into you. These hurtful words aren’t a PTSD thing. They’re a writing on the wall kind of thing. Would you really be sitting here if it was a non-PTSD guy who kept telling you that he’s waiting for a woman to make him happy? I’d hope not.
